Location: Birmingham
Salary: 15.00 - 16.00 per hour (DOE)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 9:45pm
Job Type: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a busy and expanding manufacturing team based in Birmingham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating press brake machinery to produce high-quality sheet metal components, working from engineering drawings and ensuring all products meet required specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating CNC Press Brake machinery
  
  
• Setting and adjusting machines to produce accurate components
  
  
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  
  
• Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment
  
  
• Working with various sheet metal materials
  
  
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
  
  

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience operating a Press Brake / Brake Press machine
  
  
• Experience within a sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing environment
  
  
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
  
  
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
  
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
