Residential Property Conveyancer
Bedford £40,000+ Bonus Scheme
An established and highly regarded law firm in the heart of Bedford is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive to join its thriving Conveyancing team.

The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Conveyancing, you will manage your own varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion. You will work with an established client base and be supported by an experienced team in a collaborative environment.
Your caseload will include:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Re-mortgages
- Shared Ownership transactions
- Right to Buy matters
- Transfers of Equity
- Lease Extensions
- General residential conveyancing matters
About You
Applications are welcomed from Residential Property Solicitors, Licensed Conveyancers and Chartered Legal Executives with at least 2 years' + post-qualification experience.
You will also have:
- Proven experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload independently
- Excellent client care and relationship management skills
- Strong technical knowledge and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal advice
- The ability to work to deadlines and manage a busy workload effectively
- Excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills
- Strong IT and case management skills (case management system experience is advantageous)
- Business development experience with the confidence to build and maintain client relationships
- The ability to supervise and mentor junior members of the team where required.
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining compliance with SRA, CQS and CPD requirements
