The Role As a Private Client Legal Secretary, you'll provide high-quality secretarial and administrative support to fee earners, helping to ensure matters progress efficiently while maintaining exceptional levels of client care. Your responsibilities will include: Audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence. Managing diaries, inboxes and appointments. Preparing legal documentation, letters and forms. Opening new client files and completing compliance procedures. Handling client enquiries via telephone and email. Liaising with clients and third parties in a professional and friendly manner. Arranging meetings and appointments. Managing legal files and carrying out general administrative duties. Supporting solicitors with the day-to-day management of Private Client matters. Maintaining accurate client records and updating case management systems. Assisting with document production, filing and correspondence. Ensuring confidential information is handled with the utmost discretion. About You We're looking for an organised, proactive and personable Legal Secretary who enjoys working in a client-focused legal environment. You'll ideally have: Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Private Client (candidates with experience in other legal disciplines are also encouraged to apply). Excellent audio and copy typing skills. Strong organisational and time management abilities. Outstanding communication and client care skills. A professional, positive and team-oriented approach. Good IT skills and experience using legal case management systems. Experience with Tikit Partner for Windows would be advantageous but is not essential.
