The Opportunity
You'll work on a varied caseload for both business and individual clients, supporting senior lawyers while gradually developing your own files. This is a fantastic opportunity to strengthen your technical expertise and gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of employment law.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Advising on both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Assisting with Employment Tribunal claims from instruction through to resolution
- Drafting legal documents, including witness statements, pleadings and settlement agreements
- Carrying out legal research and preparing practical, commercially focused advice
- Managing your own caseload with increasing autonomy as your experience develops
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting business development and networking initiatives within the team
About You
- Newly Qualified Solicitor (or due to qualify shortly)
- Completed a seat in Employment Law or gained relevant employment law experience
- Excellent communication and drafting skills
- Commercially aware with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Ambitious and eager to develop within a respected Employment team
