An exciting, newly created
Service Administrator opportunity has arisen in the
fast paced service department of our client, an
award winning and innovative manufacturing business, where you will be responsible for the
day-to-day administration of the department, ensuring
all activity is organised, carried out and documented in an efficient and accurate manner. The
majority of your role will see you carrying out all related administrative duties in this highly regulated, busy environment, whilst also
providing cover for your helpdesk colleague who triages enquires coming into the department by ensuring all
helpdesk tickets are monitored, updated, allocated and progressed in their absence. This is a varied role which will see you
work closely with engineers and internal teams, as well as liaising with customers to ensure a smooth delivery of work.
As a
Service Administrator your new role will involve:
- Administration support to the department
- Assisting with organising related activities - e.g. bookings for maintenance and repairs, engineer visits
- Maintaining all records and documentation on internal systems, ensuring they are updated
- Preparing and processing all relevant paperwork, reports, quotes, purchase orders and documentation
- Providing cover for your helpdesk colleague - monitoring and acknowledging incoming tickets (to SLAs), assigning and escalating tickets, and updating progress
I am interested in speaking with candidates who have experience working as a
Service Administrator, Helpdesk Administrator, Customer Service Administrator, or Service Coordinator, and who have experience using a
helpdesk ticketing system (e.g. Freshdesk, Zendesk, Zoho Desk or similar) and
CRM / ERP system. The ability to be
proactive, prioritise your own workload and be
highly accurate is essential along with a
very good telephone manner and communication skills.Salary for this position is c. 30,000 to 32,000 (depending on level of experience).Benefits include: hybrid working, life assurance, retail discounts, enhanced leave & pay for new parents, health & well being apps.The company's offices offer
