A specialist immigration law firm is seeking an Immigration Paralegal to join its growing team. This Immigration Paralegal role offers the opportunity to support a US Attorney on a range of US business immigration matters, gaining exposure to complex client cases and developing specialist immigration knowledge. The successful Immigration Paralegal will ideally have experience in US business immigration, however candidates with strong legal experience, a genuine interest in immigration law and a willingness to learn will also be considered.
The successful Immigration Paralegal will join a specialist immigration practice focused on providing tailored advice to businesses and individuals. The team offers a supportive environment, hands-on training and the opportunity to develop expertise within a niche area of immigration law.
As the Immigration Paralegal you will support the US Attorney and wider team across a range of US business immigration matters.
The role will include:
Supporting the preparation and management of US business immigration applications
Assisting with case preparation, document review and client correspondence
Conducting legal research and preparing case notes
Reviewing supporting evidence and ensuring documentation is accurate
Liaising with clients and third parties throughout the immigration process
Preparing forms, submissions and supporting documentation
Maintaining accurate case files and case management records
Monitoring deadlines and ensuring matters progress efficiently
Providing general administrative and legal support to the team
You will be an organised and motivated individual with an interest in developing a career within US immigration law.
The Immigration Paralegal must have:
Previous paralegal or legal support experience
Experience in US business immigration would be advantageous
Strong interest in immigration law and willingness to learn
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities
Professional and client-focused approach
Good IT skills and confidence using case management systems
25,000 to 30,000 salary
