Are you an experienced UK based interpreter, fluent in English and a 2nd language? And looking to work from home? In this freelance role, you'll work with the world's leading language agency, to provide interpretation across a range of industries, including the NHS and the Public Sector.

The Role

• Providing interpreting services to organisations and their customers with limited English proficiency
• Answer requests and interpret real-time conversations both ways via audio call, using a dedicated app.
• Interpreting and translating English to a 2nd language and vice versa over the phone in real time
• Providing accurate and complete interpretation whilst demonstrating excellent customer service at all times

Ideal Person

• Previous proven professional experience in spoken interpretation is essential
• Living in the UK and eligible to work in the UK on a self-employed basis
• Fluent in English and a 2nd language
• Has in-depth understanding of the cultural dynamics of both languages
• Community Interpreting Level 3 certificate or higher, is desirable but not essential
• You must hold, or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service)
