Managing complex and high-risk employee relations cases, ensuring legal, reputational and commercial risks are appropriately considered. Taking ownership of ACAS conciliations, Employment Tribunal claims, HMRC disputes and money claim or small claims court cases. Working closely with Legal Counsel and the Head of Employee Relations to determine case strategy and achieve successful outcomes. Coaching, supporting and challenging stakeholders to effectively manage a wide range of people management scenarios. Monitoring legislative developments and advising the business on the impact of employment law changes. Supporting the development and enhancement of employee relations policies, procedures and approaches. Analysing ER data and trends to identify opportunities for training, policy improvements and proactive interventions. Working collaboratively with Learning & Development and People Partners to create and deliver people management and ER training. Building strong relationships with operational leaders, managers and support function colleagues. Leading on compliance with company policies and influencing managers to follow appropriate processes and procedures. Ensuring accurate employee records are maintained in line with GDPR and audit requirements. Continuously identifying opportunities to improve policy, process and the overall colleague experience.
