A dynamic construction consultancy based in Hammersmith is looking to recruit a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join its growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to begin their career within a hands-on environment, gaining direct exposure to live projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
The successful Graduate Quantity Surveyor will work closely with experienced cost consultants, supporting projects from initial feasibility through to completion. You will assist with estimating, cost planning, tendering, valuations, and financial reporting while building a strong understanding of both pre- and post-contract quantity surveying.
This role would suit a motivated Quantity Surveying graduate who is keen to learn, take on responsibility, and work towards MRICS. You will receive structured support, practical project experience, and clear guidance throughout your professional development.
Graduate Quantity Surveyor - Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the preparation of estimates, budgets, and cost plans
Assisting with tender documentation and contractor comparisons
Helping assess valuations, variations, and payment applications
Maintaining accurate cost records and project information
Attending client meetings, site visits, and progress reviews
Working alongside senior surveyors across all project stages
Graduate Quantity Surveyor - Candidate Requirements:
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
Strong numerical, written, and communication skills
A genuine interest in consultancy-based quantity surveying
Organised, proactive, and willing to learn
Comfortable working as part of a collaborative project team
Keen to begin the APC process and progress towards MRICS
