Merchandiser

Mechandiser (Temp) - Suffolk/Norfolk - 12.82 P/h

We are currently recruiting for a Temporary field based Mechandiser throughout August for our client covering the Suffolk/Norfolk areas. This role will require a lot of driving so please bear that in mind before applying to the role!

Pay rate: 12.82 p/h

Contract Length: All of August

Hours: Mon-Fri, 09:00am-17:30pm (37.5 per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Visit newsagents and supermarkets across the territory on a regular basis.
• Report back on store visits each working day.
• Ensure point-of-sale materials are displayed in line with company plans.
• Identify opportunities to improve brand visibility and awareness.
• Maintain full availability of titles in each outlet.
• Seek opportunities to increase distribution through alternative outlets where appropriate.

• Confident communicating with people and representing our brands professionally.
• Able to work independently and use initiative.
• Committed to ensuring our titles are promoted to the highest standard.
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
• Previous merchandising experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Additional Information

• There is a significant amount of driving involved, with average daily mileage typically around 60-70 miles, though generally less on Fridays.
• Most working days will be focused in the Ipswich and South Suffolk area, apart from Fridays in Beccles/Bungay.
• Mileage is paid at 30p per mile.
