Build out the underlying controls, workflows and reporting for these entities, and document them clearly so ownership can be handed to permanent or local teams in time. Bring more rigour and consistency to the group's month-end timetable and consolidation. Create a full set of group balance sheet reconciliations and backing schedules, so leadership finally has a clear, reliable view of the consolidated numbers. Introduce standardised review routines and templates with the entity teams to keep reporting consistent across the group. Drive the FY2025 statutory accounts and group audit through to completion. Prepare for a new audit partner in FY2026, supporting a clean transition and a smoother year-end. Pick up other group-wide finance initiatives as the need emerges, adding senior capacity while the business scales. What We Need to See (Essential) Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
