An exciting opportunity has now arisen for a Contract Manager (NHS Hard Facilities Management) to join our Hard Facilities Management team. This team delivers planned, preventative and responsive building repairs for our end client, the NHS. Rydon Maintenance is an expanding division of the Rydon Group and is successfully providing hard facilities management services to a variety of clients, predominantly within the healthcare sector. Rydon Maintenance provides hard FM (facilities management) services across England for a growing number of NHS Trusts. We look after more than 250 buildings on behalf of 20 NHS Trusts on a planned and responsive repairs, small works and minor capital projects basis. We provide maintenance services to acute (hospital), ambulance trusts, primary care trusts as well as mental health trusts. Job Purpose The successful candidate will take responsibility for the delivery of Hard FM Services (planned, preventative and responsive repairs) including health, safety, quality and performance across a number of NHS contracts in Essex and East London. This is a varied role where you will be the point of contact for all operational issues to ensure the delivery of an effective hard facilities maintenance service in line with contractual obligations and budgetary constraints. Managing a skilled maintenance team delivering planned and reactive maintenance you will ensure contract compliance with all statutory regulations, current legislation and local codes of practice and policies across the sites. Legal & Compliance Provide technical supervision and guidance to your team. Manage a small personal caseload of probate matters. Ensure compliance with SRA regulations and internal policies. Monitor legal quality, risk management and file progression. Keep up to date with changes in probate legislation and best practice. Support continuous improvement across legal processes and procedures. Client Service Ensure clients receive a professional, compassionate and efficient service throughout the probate process. Support the resolution of complex client queries and complaints. Work with internal teams to manage workloads and client expectations. Promote a culture focused on outstanding client care and service excellence. Performance & Operations Monitor team workloads, work in progress and case progression. Drive productivity, billing performance and departmental KPIs. Produce accurate management reports and performance data. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service delivery. Support the firm's continued growth through effective people management and operational excellence. About You To be successful in this role, you will have: Significant experience within Wills, Probate and Private Client law. Previous experience supervising or managing legal professionals. Excellent coaching, mentoring and leadership skills. Strong technical knowledge of probate law and compliance requirements. Excellent organisational and communication skills. A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to motivate others. Experience managing KPIs, workloads and performance within a legal environment.
