Job Description
An excellent opportunity for an experienced Finance Director to join a well-established organisation on an initial 6-month interim contract, with the potential to be extended.
This is a senior finance leadership role where you'll work closely with the leadership team, taking responsibility for financial strategy, reporting, compliance and governance while leading an established finance function.
The Opportunity
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys making an immediate impact. You'll provide strategic financial leadership while ensuring the day-to-day finance function runs smoothly.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
- Preparing statutory accounts and ensuring financial compliance.
- Providing financial insight to support strategic decisions.
- Managing audits, financial controls and governance.
- Overseeing procurement, contracts and the finance team.
What You'll Bring
You'll be a qualified senior finance professional with strong leadership skills and experience of managing complex financial operations. You'll be commercially minded, hands-on and able to build credibility quickly with senior stakeholders.
Experience in education, the public sector or a not-for-profit environment would be an advantage but isn't essential.
