A reputable Housing Provider is currently seeking an Private Housing Standards Officer (Office Based) to join their busy Private Sector Housing team in London. This is a key role in improving housing conditions across the borough and protecting residents living within the private rented sector. Rate: 30.00 - 31.17 per hour (40 Umbrella) Location: London Contract: Temporary / Ongoing Working Pattern: Primarily Office-Based (x4 days on site) This is an excellent opportunity for an environmental health, private sector housing, or housing enforcement professional with experience of HHSRS inspections , HMO regulation , housing enforcement , and private sector housing standards. You will be responsible for investigating housing condition complaints , regulating HMOs , improving standards within the private rented sector, and taking both informal and formal enforcement action where required.
