About the Role We are currently recruiting for an experienced PSV Technician to join a well-established and growing transport operation. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a modern workshop maintaining a fleet of buses and coaches to the highest safety and reliability standards. You'll be responsible for carrying out inspections, servicing, diagnostics and repairs, ensuring vehicles remain roadworthy and compliant with DVSA regulations. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance on PSV vehicles. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults. Complete MOT preparation and ensure vehicles meet all legal compliance standards. Perform safety inspections and defect rectification. Accurately complete job cards and maintenance records. Work efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime. Follow all health & safety procedures and workshop standards. Requirements Previous experience working as a PSV Technician, Bus Technician, HGV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician. Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) is desirable. Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. A full UK driving licence is essential. A valid PSV licence is highly desirable, although training may be available for the right candidate. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
