Tig Welder

Schedule: Monday to Friday 07:00-17:00

Payrate: up to £23 p/h

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Tig welder to join our client's team. This position is suitable for an experienced welder that will be contributing to the manufacture of high quality of medical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on medical equipment components
• Adjust sheet parts to fit weld jigs accurately
• Use measuring equipment to ensure components meet drawing specifications
• Strictly adhere to health and safety and standard operating procedures
• Working with 1,2,3 millimetre sheet metal

Requirements

• Past welding experience for kitchen manufacturers- cabinets, hospital equipment, trolleys, furniture
• Ideally a tidy neat worker
• Strong practical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to meet deadlines
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and modern manufacturing methods
