We call these our '3Ps'. We achieve this in two ways. First we improve lives on the frontline through delivery of public services. Secondly, we use our knowledge to change 'the system', to fix the complex web that can trap and disempower those it was set up to help. With the heart of a charity and the mindset of a business, we are uniquely placed to deliver on this challenging agenda. Job Description As Strategic Partnerships Manager, you will help shape Catch22's future growth by building influential relationships with commissioners, funders and strategic partners. You will lead our approach to stakeholder engagement, ensuring market intelligence, trusted relationships and early opportunity insight are translated into sustainable growth opportunities. Working closely with senior leaders, you will raise Catch22's profile across key markets, influence future services and funding opportunities, and play a pivotal role in securing the partnerships that enable us to deliver lasting impact for people and communities. Your key responsibilities will include: Developing and delivering a structured, agile stakeholder engagement strategy and delivery plan for Catch22. Overseeing Catch22's commissioner and funder engagement activity, coordinating and influencing engagement across senior colleagues to ensure activity is strategic, aligned and supports sustainable growth. Building and managing senior relationships across local government, strategic authorities, trusts, foundations and lottery funders, creating opportunities to understand, anticipate and respond to future commissioning and funding priorities. Leading Catch22's place-based engagement approach, coordinating local engagement activity and strengthening relationships across priority markets and emerging devolved structures. Generating and sharing commissioner, funder and market intelligence, acting as a trusted advisor to operational and business development leaders and informing growth priorities, service development and pipeline decisions. Owning and continuously improving stakeholder engagement processes, systems and reporting, effectively using data and technology, while ensuring effective governance, compliance and risk management. Qualifications We are looking for a credible and thoughtful relationship-builder who earns trust, navigates complexity with sound judgement and responds confidently and pragmatically to emerging opportunities and challenges. You will bring to the role: A strong track record of building influential relationships with commissioners, funders, government departments, trusts, foundations, strategic partners and other senior stakeholders. Experience developing and delivering stakeholder engagement strategies that have supported organisational growth and strengthened market position. Exceptional influencing, negotiation and relationship-building skills, with credibility at executive, political and system-leader level, and experience aligning senior colleagues around a strategic approach to stakeholder engagement. Strong understanding of public sector commissioning, procurement and grant funding, including local government, integrated care systems and the evolving devolution landscape. Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to influence diverse audiences and translate complex information into clear, compelling messages. Experience of stakeholder mapping, engagement planning and measuring relationship effectiveness. Digitally confident and data-driven, with experience using CRM systems and market intelligence tools to inform decision-making. Willingness to travel nationally, as required. Additional Information Flexibility: Fully remote role (UK based), or with access to our central London office Application Deadline: Wednesday 26th August 2026 Interviews: Thursday 10th and Friday 11th September Unless otherwise stated, interviews will be arranged as suitable candidates are identified, so early application is strongly advised. Sage
Product Manager - Business Identity
Sage City, Newcastle Upon Tyne
hackajob is collaborating with Sage to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role. Sage is building the trust layer that makes modern commerce - human and AI-driven - safe, fast, and compliant. The Business Identity Platform is the canonical data foundation every Sage product depends on: a single source of truth about who every business is, who can act for them, and what we can verify about them. This is a foundational role. Business Identity is no longer a feature - it's the platform layer that unlocks Sage's products to transact at the speed of trust. You will own the roadmap, and execution that makes this possible at global scale, across multiple jurisdictions, regulatory frameworks, and Sage product teams. Please note: This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in our Newcastle office What You'll Do: • Own Business Identity this includes areas like verification, digital signing / seals, the global identifier / data linking strategy, and KYB onboarding flows - balancing product team consumption, regulatory compliance across 20+ countries, data quality, and long-term platform scalability. • Design the global entity model - canonical data structures (entity identifiers, actor roles, attribute schemas, verification evidence) that represent a business anywhere in the Sage Network. • Build reusable verification capabilities as stateless APIs - entity resolution, actor authority verification, and attribute validation so product teams can embed them confidently without reimplementing locally. • Translate regulatory and business requirements into data design - partner with compliance, legal, fintech, and in-country teams to understand KYC, AML, and eIDAS obligations, then shape durable schemas and verification rules. • Manage data quality, reconciliation, and evidence integrity - establish fact verification standards, design the immutable evidence chain backing every claim, and define how the system handles conflicting or stale data. • Define the consumption experience for internal product teams - clear, well-documented APIs, SDKs, and adoption patterns so Tax, Payments, AP, Payroll, and fintech teams can build confidently on the platform. • Balance platform stability with regulatory change - manage a roadmap that accommodates mandatory regulatory evolution without destabilising the platform or forcing rewrites of dependent products. • Build alignment across a matrixed organisation - interlock your roadmap with consuming product teams, partner with engineering and data architecture, and secure buy-in from legal, compliance, and fintech leadership. What You'll Bring: • A track record of owning data platforms, identity systems, or foundational products where reliable, reusable data is the core asset. You understand the difference between point solutions and platform thinking. • Confident reasoning about entity relationships, data schemas, master data management, immutable audit trails, and event-driven architectures. • Strong platform PM mindset - you design for adoption across internal teams, manage dependencies and breaking changes, and balance platform stability with consuming teams' evolving needs. • Exceptional communication and influence across technical and non-technical audiences - you translate complex concepts into clear narratives and drive alignment without direct authority. • Proven ability to navigate ambiguity - you've shipped products where requirements weren't fully defined, validated assumptions with internal customers, and iterated to prove value quickly. • Ability to translate platform value into commercial concepts - you speak in business outcomes, not technical features, and drive adoption through demonstrated ROI. Nice to Have: • Experience with identity or data platforms, graph databases, entity resolution, or master data management. • Multi-country or multi-jurisdiction product complexity. • Fintech, payments, or banking product experience. • Familiarity with eIDAS, Verifiable Credentials, or decentralised identity standards. What Success Looks Like (First 12 Months) • A clear, documented global entity model is live and relied upon by multiple Sage product teams. • Internal product teams recognise you as their trusted technical partner on identity and data questions - known for well-designed, well-documented, measurable platform changes. • The verification evidence and audit trail system is live and powering workflows. • A repeatable pattern for accommodating new regulatory or business requirements is established, with clear decision frameworks the wider team can follow. • The roadmap is visible, prioritised, and clearly communicated to leadership and consuming product teams. Benefits? We have plenty Video: • Generous bonuses and pension scheme: Up to 8% matched pension contribution plus 2% top-up by Sage. • 25 days of paid annual leave with the option to buy up to another 5 days. • 8 bank holiday days. • Paid 5 days yearly to volunteer through our Sage Foundation. • 50% income protection. • Holiday buy + sell. • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage. • Work away scheme for up to 10 weeks a year. • Ongoing training and professional development. • Hybrid working. • Healthy Mind app membership • Access to various helpful memberships for finances, health and wellbeing.
