This role would suit candidates with experience as a Transport Administrator, Logistics Administrator, Transport Clerk, Transport Coordinator, Logistics Coordinator, Office Administrator or Operations Administrator.

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Transport Administrator, your duties will include but not be limited to:
• Providing administrative support to the transport department • Updating transport management systems and maintaining accurate records • Communicating with drivers and depot colleagues • Assisting with driver scheduling and daily transport administration • Completing compliance checks and driver documentation • Managing emails and responding to operational enquiries • Supporting the day-to-day running of the transport office • Ensuring accurate filing and record keeping at all times
Essential Skills
To be successful as a Transport Administrator, you will need:
• Previous administration experience • Excellent organisational and time management skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop • The ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment • A willingness to work towards gaining the Transport Manager CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence) qualification as part of your career development
Desirable Experience
• Previous experience within a transport or logistics environment • Experience using Transport Management Systems (TMS)
