Job Description:o Lead a team of Quality professionals in a high volume manufacturing environment o First point of contact for all external and internal customer concernso Instigation of 8D activity following customer concern and delegation of work to team thereaftero Audit systems and processes to ISO9001 standardo Utilise data of quality defects to improve quality processeso Identify area for quality improvementso Utilisation of six sigma/ lean tools to increase efficiencies and improve site qualityo Maintain and develop the QMS and quality structureExperience:You will already be a competent Quality professional with proven management experience within a high volume manufacturing environment.o HNC/ Degree in a technical subject or equivalent professional level qualificationo Excellent knowledge of quality systems with particular focus on ISO9001o Strong communicator internally and in liaison with demanding customerso Strong understanding of Route Cause Analysis and structured problem solving tools - 8D, MSA, 5Whyo Excellent grasp of lean six sigma tools - green belt certification desirable o Demonstrate leadership ability to coach and build self confidence in teamOpportunity:Our client is part of a international manufacturing group and the facility is a modern highly automated plant that has had considerable investment in new capex/ machinery with several NPI launches planned.
