Office Manager Location: Hull Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 DOE Job Type: Full Time Hours: Monday to Friday The Opportunity Prestige Recruitment Specialists are recruiting on behalf of a growing building services business for an experienced Office Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a busy office. The company delivers insurance reinstatement, property maintenance, refurbishment and specialist surveying services across the UK. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys leading a team, improving processes and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Role You will work closely with the Directors and Operations team, ensuring the office runs efficiently while supporting clients, surveyors, contractors and internal teams. Key responsibilities include: Managing the day-to-day running of the office and administration team Leading, supporting and allocating workloads across the team Managing client enquiries and ensuring excellent customer service Liaising with insurers, loss adjusters, surveyors, subcontractors and customers Supporting scheduling, work allocation and diary management Monitoring job progress and maintaining accurate records Producing reports for Directors Supporting recruitment, onboarding and training Improving office procedures and administrative processes Managing office suppliers, facilities and resources Supporting invoicing, purchase orders and general finance administration Ensuring company procedures and compliance standards are maintained About You We are looking for an organised, confident and proactive Office Manager with experience working within a busy environment. You will ideally have: Previous experience as an Office Manager, Administration Manager or Operations Coordinator Strong leadership and people management skills Excellent organisational and time management abilities Strong communication and relationship-building skills Excellent attention to detail Good Microsoft Office skills The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines A positive, practical and solutions-focused approach Experience within construction, property, facilities management, insurance or maintenance would be highly advantageous. Experience with engineer/trades scheduling, insurance claims, project coordination, CRM or job management systems would also be beneficial.
