Deputy Head of Clinical Procurement
Salary: From £75,400 + up to 12% annual bonus
Location: Denmark Hill, London hybrid working, with three days per week onsite and travel across KFM sites
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

King s Facilities Management (KFM) is looking for a Deputy Head of Clinical Procurement to help lead its Clinical Procurement function, overseeing complex, high-value procurement programmes while helping shape the team s performance, culture and future direction.
KFM is wholly owned by King s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and provides procurement, equipment, supply chain and other specialist services across the Trust. The opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Clinical Procurement & Supply Chain, you will take a senior leadership role within the department, supporting the delivery of procurement strategy, savings and quality objectives while developing the capability of the wider team.
You will lead a portfolio of complex and high-value clinical procurement projects, provide strategic procurement advice to senior stakeholders and work closely with clinical teams, suppliers and colleagues across KFM.
The role combines procurement leadership, category management, strategic sourcing, contract management and people leadership. You will have the opportunity to influence how procurement operates, identify new commercial opportunities and support continued improvement across the function.

About you
We are looking for an experienced procurement professional who can combine strong commercial judgement with confident leadership and stakeholder management.
You will bring significant experience of procurement, category management, strategic sourcing and contract management, together with a strong understanding of clinical categories and public-sector procurement.
You should be able to demonstrate:
Previous experience working within an NHS procurement function is desirable, but KFM is also interested in candidates who can demonstrate highly relevant procurement leadership experience within other complex healthcare or public-sector environments.
