Salary: £46,142 - £49,282 per annum (pay award pending)

Newcastle Fostering Service is excited to invite applications for the new role of Assistant Team Manager within our Placement Resource Team. About the Role
As Assistant Team Manager, you will play a key part in ensuring children and carers receive the best possible service. Working closely with Placement Officers, Supervising Social Workers, colleagues across Children s Services, and partners in commissioning and independent provider teams, you will help oversee:
You will also support the Team Manager by providing day-to-day leadership, advice, and professional guidance. This includes supervising staff, contributing to service development, and deputising for the Team Manager when required. The role may involve some unsociable hours, and a flexible approach is essential to meet the needs of children and carers.
