Location: Chessington, Surrey - mainly office-based Contract: Interim, 3-4 months

Savant is seeking a hands-on Interim Finance Manager for a fast-growing services business. The Finance Manager will play a key role in managing the company's day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, supporting business planning, and providing financial insight across the organisation. The role will work closely with operational, commercial, and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly accounts, statutory reporting, and audit coordination.

• Lead annual budgeting, periodic forecasting, and cost analysis.

• Oversee operational finance, including AP/AR, billing, and cash flow management.

• Provide financial oversight for project budgets and infrastructure investments.

• Optimise finance systems and internal processes for reporting efficiency.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to provide financial insights.

Key Skills/Experience

• Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with strong Excel skills.
• Proven experience in financial control and Xero (essential)
• Hands-on experience in an SME environment
