Our client is seeking a dynamic Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their team on a temporary basis at their vibrant location in Swansea Waterfront. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to an organisation that values education and supports the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process purchase invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and reconcile supplier accounts.
- Assist in resolving supplier queries in a timely manner.
- Support month-end closing processes related to purchase ledger activities.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of purchase ledger processes.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in purchase ledger or accounts payable roles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a collaborative mindset.
