Outbound Customer Service

Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with an expanding organisation based in Tamworth. This is an excellent opportunity to join their team as an Outbound Customer Advisor on a full-time temporary to permanent basis, with full training provided and the opportunity to earn an average of £1,000 £1,500 commission per month.

Package and Benefits

• Average monthly commission of £1,000 £1,500

• Monday to Friday, 9:00am 5:00pm One day per week 9:00am 5:30pm

Job Role

• Making outbound calls to business customers to discuss outstanding debt
• Speaking with customers to understand individual circumstances and supporting the collection of outstanding payments
• Building positive rapport and maintaining professional relationships with business customers
• Handling potentially sensitive conversations confidently while balancing empathy with assertiveness
• Negotiating appropriate outcomes and working towards successful resolutions
• Sending emails and relevant correspondence and following up with customers where required
• Updating and maintaining accurate information on the internal database
• Managing customer queries professionally and working closely with the wider team to support account activity

Skills and Experience

• Demonstrating previous experience within a similar role or possessing strong transferable customer service skills from retail, hospitality or another customer-focused environment
• Possessing excellent verbal communication skills with the confidence to engage with customers over the telephone
• Demonstrating strong negotiation skills with the ability to balance empathy and assertiveness
• Building rapport naturally and creating a positive first impression
• Demonstrating resilience and remaining professional during challenging or sensitive conversations
• Possessing strong organisational, problem-solving and time-management skills
• Maintaining professionalism across all forms of communication
