Omnia Resourcing is recruiting Food Production General Operatives to support a leading food production operation in the TW4 area.

We are looking for reliable, hardworking and flexible individuals to join a busy team working across various food production departments. This is a hands-on role requiring physical fitness, attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

You may be assigned to different departments, including Dishroom, Trayset, Dry Store, Logistics, Kitchen and Pastry, depending on operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities as a Food Production General Operative:

• Work across different food production departments, including Dishroom, Trayset, Dry Store, Logistics, Kitchen and Pastry.
• Handle, prepare, sort and organise food products in line with operational requirements.
• Assist with tray setting, dishwashing, food preparation, packing and general production duties.
• Follow strict food hygiene, health and safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Carry out manual handling duties, including heavy lifting, bending and standing for extended periods.
• Work efficiently as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.

Requirements:

• Valid passport and the right to work in the UK.
• Five years of references required.
• Recent DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
• Good communication skills and a reliable approach to work.
• Flexibility to work any 5 days out of 7, including weekends and bank holidays.
• Willingness to work across different departments as required.
• Ability to work in different temperature environments, including hot, cold and ambient areas.
• Comfortable handling all types of food and drink, including meat, fish and alcohol. Masks and gloves are available for use where required.
• Physically fit and able to carry out heavy lifting and other manual handling duties.
• Ideally living within one hour's travelling distance of the TW4 area.

Important Information:

This is a physically demanding role involving heavy lifting and working across various food production environments. Flexibility is essential, as working days may include weekends and bank holidays, depending on operational requirements.
