Youth Worker

Location: Oldham
Pay Rate: 16.78 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:45pm
Contract: Full-time

We are currently recruiting for a dedicated, enthusiastic and compassionate Youth Worker to join a school in Oldham.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people, building positive relationships and helping pupils reach their full potential.

• Provide support, guidance and encouragement to young people within a school environment.
• Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.
• Support pupils with their social, emotional and behavioural development.
• Help manage challenging behaviour using positive and supportive approaches.
• Encourage positive engagement, confidence and participation in school activities.
• Work closely with teaching staff and other professionals to support pupils' individual needs.
• Help create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.

• Has previous experience working with young people or children.
• Has a positive, patient and understanding approach.
• Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Is confident supporting young people with challenging behaviour.
• Is passionate about helping young people overcome barriers and achieve their potential.
• Can work effectively as part of a team and use their own initiative.

• 16.78 per hour
• Full-time, Monday to Friday position.
• Consistent working hours: 8:30am - 3:45pm.
