School Minibus Driver
Start Date: September 2025Contract End: 3rd July 2026Location: Blackburn
Pay: £12.21/hour - £13,880 annual (paid across full year)Hours: 28 per weekSchedule: Term Time + INSET (35 weeks/year)Working Hours: 06:15-09:00 & 15:30-18:30

Role Purpose:
To safely transport pupils to and from school, ensuring high standards of safety, behaviour, and professionalism. Occasional additional hours may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive pupils to/from school
- Conduct vehicle checks and refuelling as needed
- Keep the minibus clean and tidy
- Ensure safe and respectful pupil behaviour
- Report incidents to school staff
Requirements:
Hold a current clean and valid driving license
Awareness of Health and Safety Regulations
Be prepared to undergo additional training as required
Essential:
- Age 25+ (insurance requirement)
- Valid D1 (unrestricted/restricted) or PCV licence
- Good local area knowledge
- Basic vehicle maintenance skills
- Strong communication and teamwork
Desirable:
- First aid qualification
- Previous transport experience
