Carpentry and Joinery Lecturer

Reed FE are working with a College in Northampton are looking for Lecturer in Carpentry to join their growing Construction Trades & Heritage team. They are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable individual to ensure provision of this course is kept to our high standards.

Role: Carpentry and Joinery LecturerContract: Permanent, Full TimeSalary; £33,487.00 - £39,941.00 per annumLocation: Northamptonshire Duties:

• Lecture and train carpentry students
• Develop programmes and materials
• Work closely and be supported by a team of Technicians and tutors
• Assess students' initial support needs and monitor progress

Requirements:

• A minimum of grade C in GCSE Maths and English Language (or equivalent)
• Educated to level 3 or equivalent in Carpentry
• To hold or be willing to work towards and achieve a Diploma in Teaching and Learning (Certificate in Education) or equivalent
• Commitment to and evidence of CPD
• Experience of working in a similar role Experience of working with young people
