SEN Teaching Assistant - KS1 (Part-Time) South Sheffield 3 days per week Temp to perm opportunityAre you a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding part-time role in a nurturing and well-supported setting?We're working with a fantastic primary school in South Sheffield to recruit a dedicated SEN TA to support two KS1 pupils with EHCPs in place. These children are not currently accessing mainstream education and are based in a bespoke classroom environment, supported by a class teacher and another TA.This is a 2:1 support role working with pupils who are non-verbal or have very limited communication. The ideal candidate will be confident using alternative communication strategies, patient, and passionate about inclusive education.The Role:

• Supporting two pupils in KS1 with complex communication needs
• Working closely with the class teacher and another TA in a dedicated classroom
• Implementing EHCP targets and using tailored strategies to support progress
• Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and the wider team

What We're Looking For:

• Level 3 qualification preferred (Level 2 considered with relevant experience)
• Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a primary setting
• Calm, nurturing approach and a genuine passion for helping children thrive
• Confidence working with non-verbal pupils or those with limited communication
