Level 2 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child within a Secondary School in Blackpool. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive difference in a child's education and wellbeing.

The role:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to meet the individual learning and social needs of the child
• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement personalised learning strategies
• Assist with classroom activities, ensuring the child is engaged and supported
• Promote independence, confidence, and inclusion in the classroom and school environment

The school is looking for someone who:

• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent experience)
• Has previous experience supporting children with additional needs
• Is patient, nurturing, and adaptable to meet the needs of the child
• Can build positive relationships with staff, parents, and external professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
