LGV Driver

Location: Yate Depot, South Gloucestershire Shifts: 06:45 - 15:15, Monday to Friday (Overtime available Saturdays) Pay:£18.00 per hour (Drivers) Competitive rates for Loaders Start Date:Next week - inductions THIS week

We are urgently recruiting 2 LGV Category C Drivers and 5 Loaders to join the waste and recycling collection team at the Yate depot. Inductions will take place this week to ensure all workers are ready to start next week.

You will be responsible for the safe driving and operation of vehicles collecting household waste and recycling across South Gloucestershire. This is a hands-on role working as part of a reliable, community-focused team.

• Driving and operating LGV vehicles on planned routes

• Assisting the crew with loading when required

• Delivering a high standard of service to residents

• Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting defects

• Following all Health & Safety procedures (client and company)

• LGV Category C licence (essential)

• Valid CPC card (essential)

• Minimum 1 year's LGV driving experience

• Good communication skills and a positive team attitude

• Experience in waste/recycling or with Stillage Vehicles, Kerbside Loaders, or RCVs is desirable - training provided
