With a strong foothold in Birmingham and ambitious plans for further expansion, the firm is seeking a senior lateral hire who can bring strategic vision, deepen client relationships, and play a key role in shaping the future of its disputes offering across the Midlands.

You will join a highly regarded Commercial Litigation team known for delivering results-driven, commercially focused, and pragmatic advice. The team prides itself on building long-standing client relationships through a deep understanding of each client's business, sector, and strategic objectives.

With an exceptional breadth of work, you will have access to high-quality, complex matters across multiple sectors, while also being empowered to drive your own practice forward, both regionally and nationally.

This role offers genuine influence: from shaping strategy and mentoring junior lawyers, to enhancing the firm's profile in the Midlands market and beyond.

The team handles a broad range of high-value and complex disputes, including:

• Complex commercial and corporate disputes (shareholders, partnerships, and trusts)
• International arbitration and cross-border litigation
• Financial services and insurance disputes
• Energy, infrastructure, and major projects litigation
• Professional negligence and contentious insolvency
• Public sector, healthcare, and regulatory disputes
• Defamation, data protection, and reputational risk matters

We are seeking an established Partner who can demonstrate:

• A strong track record in commercial litigation
• An existing client following or proven ability to originate and grow work
• Strategic leadership and a clear vision for practice development
• The ability to build, lead, and inspire high-performing teams
• A collaborative approach aligned with a modern, forward-thinking law firm culture

Sector specialism is welcomed, but equally important is your ability to operate across a broad range of complex disputes and identify new avenues for growth.
