Job Description
A well-established food production business is looking for a hands-on Yard & Grading Manager to take charge of a busy operation and lead a team on site.
This is a role for someone who likes being out on the floor, running things, leading people, and keeping operations moving.
What you'll be doing
- Running the yard and grading operation day to day
- Leading and supporting a team on shift
- Overseeing forklift movement and site traffic
- Making sure product is graded correctly and standards are met
- Keeping the yard organised, safe, and running smoothly
- Monitoring team performance and hitting daily targets
- Working closely with the operations leadership team
- Stepping in to support wider operations when needed
This is a visible leadership role where you'll be trusted to manage your area and make decisions.

- Experience supervising or managing a team
- Background in fresh produce, food production, warehouse, agriculture, or similar
- Someone hands-on who leads from the front
- Good communicator who can organise people and keep things moving
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving operational environment
- Own transport required due to location
