Rural Sales Representative

Anderson Knight is delighted to be partnering with a well-established business based in Angus to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic Rural Sales Representative.

This is a varied role combining both office-based responsibilities and field sales, offering an excellent opportunity for someone with a genuine passion for the agricultural sector.

The Role

• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing customers across the region.
• Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities through farm visits, outbound calls, and online enquiries.
• Represent the company at demonstrations, confidently showcasing machinery and equipment to prospective customers.
• Handle customer enquiries professionally, delivering effective solutions that meet both client expectations and business objectives.
• Assess and sell used equipment, completing detailed reports both on-site and at depot locations.
• Prepare accurate quotations, calculate costs, and ensure all sales are commercially viable and profitable.
• Take ownership of personal performance, consistently striving to meet and exceed sales targets, including machinery and extended warranty sales.

What We re Looking For

• Experience within, or a strong background in, the agricultural industry.
• Previous sales or customer-facing experience is advantageous.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with a strong focus on customer service.
• Confidence in presenting and demonstrating products, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
