We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed Geography Early Career Teacher to join our successful Humanities department at a thriving secondary school in Thurrock. About the Role
As a Geography ECT, you will:
Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with opportunities at KS5 for the right candidate)
Deliver engaging, inclusive, and knowledge-rich lessons
Contribute to a well-established and supportive Humanities team
Take part fully in the schools ECT induction programme, with high-quality mentoring and CPD
Inspire students to develop curiosity and a strong understanding of the world around them
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
Holds (or is completing) Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has a strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography
Is reflective, motivated, and eager to develop as a practitioner
Has high expectations of student behaviour, progress, and achievement
Works well collaboratively and is committed to continuous improvement
