CSCS Traffic Marshal Long-Term Opportunity on Major A417 Missing Link Project
Danny Sullivan Group is currently recruiting for an experienced CSCS Traffic Marshal to join a major, long-term infrastructure project on the A417 Missing Link scheme in Gloucestershire.
This is a high-profile highways project delivering a new 3.5-mile dual carriageway connecting Gloucester and Cirencester, improving safety, reducing congestion, and enhancing regional connectivity.
Your Role as a CSCS Traffic Marshal:
- Safely manage and coordinate vehicle and plant movements across site
- Act as the designated Traffic Marshal / Vehicle Banksman
- Guide HGVs and construction vehicles, ensuring safe entry, exit, and manoeuvring
- Maintain clear communication with drivers and site teams
- Ensure strict pedestrian and vehicle segregation at all times
- Monitor and control access points across a large-scale highways environment
- Support site logistics, deliveries, and traffic flow
- Carry out general site safety checks and enforce procedures
- Report hazards, near misses, and unsafe practices immediately
What We re Looking For as a CSCS Traffic Marshal:
- Valid CSCS Card (essential)
- Traffic Marshal / Banksman qualification (essential)
- SEQOSH Safety Critical Medical (prefered)
- Proven experience in a similar role on civil engineering or highways projects
- Strong understanding of site safety and traffic management
- Confident communicator with excellent situational awareness
- Reliable, punctual, and proactive approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
