Project Manager - Water & Infrastructure Projects
Kent (with travel across sites)
Are you an experienced Project Manager looking to take ownership of complex infrastructure projects within the UK water sector?
We are recruiting for a driven and adaptable Project Manager to join a growing delivery team, leading the successful execution of multiple construction and engineering projects from pre-construction through to completion.

The Role
This is a key position responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of projects within the water and wastewater sector. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Working closely with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients, you will manage all aspects of programme, cost, risk, and stakeholder engagement across multiple live projects.

Key Responsibilities
Manage and deliver multiple construction projects simultaneously
Develop and maintain detailed project programmes alongside planning teams (P6)
Oversee project budgets, ensuring effective cost control and value delivery
Manage subcontractors and supply chain performance
Collaborate with pre-construction teams to ensure smooth project handover
Lead change control processes in partnership with commercial teams
Review technical documentation to ensure compliance and constructability
Identify and mitigate risks while maximising project opportunities
Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle

What We're Looking For
Experience & Knowledge
Proven experience delivering projects within the water or wastewater sector
Strong background in design & build project delivery
Experience working with contractors or water utility frameworks
Solid understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and change control
NEC3 / NEC4 contract experience
Strong programme management skills (P6 preferred)
Qualifications
Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar
SMSTS and CSCS
