Paralegal - Personal Injury
Location: Sandwich
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join a busy team based in Sandwich. This role requires a confident individual who can step straight in and manage their own caseload with minimal supervision.

Applicants must have prior Personal Injury experience and be comfortable working independently in a fast-paced legal environment.

We can only accept applicants who have the full Right To Work in the UK and live within 30 to 45 minute commute.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing high volume of personal Injury caseloads, including Road Traffic Accidents (RTA), Employer's Liability, Public Liability, Occupiers' Liability and Criminal Injury cases
  • Handling both fast track and multi track cases, pre and post litigation
  • Predominantly Claimant work, with occasional Defendant matters
  • Instructing medical experts, counsel, and agencies
  • Preparing court documents, applications, witness statements, and trial bundles
  • Drafting costs schedules and managing legal expenses insurance matters
  • Handling Ministry of Justice Portal claims, MedCo and AskCUE processes
  • Liaising daily with clients, insurers, solicitors, counsel, courts, and experts
  • Managing billing processes and maintaining accurate ledgers
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, protocols, and regulatory requirements
  • Attending court hearings where required

Essential Requirements

  • Proven, strong Paralegal experience within Personal Injury Law
  • Strong working knowledge of Civil Procedure Rules and Public Liability Legislation
  • Experience handling your own caseload with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, deadline driven environment
