Job Title: Gold Card Electrician - Prison Refurbishment Project
Location: Wandsworth, London
Rate: 250 per day
Job Type: Contract / Full-Time (8-hour days, Monday to Friday)
Duration: Up to 2 years
A long-term commercial project in Wandsworth is seeking experienced electricians to join a prison refurbishment team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a large-scale, high-profile project with consistent, long-term work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install new containment and modify existing containment
- Replace trunking lids
- Install emergency lighting systems
- Run final circuits and provide power to mechanical equipment
- Work safely and efficiently in a live construction environment
- Follow site plans, drawings, and electrical specifications
- Maintain high standards of health & safety and regulatory compliance
Requirements:
- ECS Gold Card
- EL1 Clearance (essential for site access)
- Experience in domestic/commercial electrical installation work
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
