Description
- Maintaining vendor accounts.
- Processing of purchase orders, goods received notices & supplier invoices.
- Production of monthly, weekly and ad-hoc multi-currency payment runs.
- Production of the weekly payment run during apple season.
- Supplier statement reconciliations.
- Reviewing aged creditors, resolving aged and incorrect items and controlling the month end closing process.
- Reconciliation of insurance, council tax and all other standing order accounts.
- Ensuring supplier queries are dealt with in a timely manner and resolved correctly and efficiently.
- Filing of invoices and remittances.
Profile
A successful AP Controller should have:
- Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial systems.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
- Previous experience in the FMCG industry or a similar fast-paced environment.
Job Offer
- Competitive salary ranging from 28,000 to 32,000 per annum.
