You will be carrying out the following tasks: Assemble manufactured components to technical specifications and quality standards. Inspecting assemblies produced in the unit to the required quality procedures. Use of conventional measuring tools Deburring of components prior to assembly We'd like you to have; Assembly shop experience with the ability to work to technical engineering drawings & specifications. This is a hands-on role focused on assembling precision UHV systems, offering the chance to work with advanced technology in a specialist environment. Salary: Up to £30,000 Location: Lower Dicker, UK (On-site) Full-Time Permanent Essential Requirements: Experience in a manufacturing or engineering assembly environment Ability to read and follow engineering drawings and instructions Understanding of mechanical assembly and basic electrical work Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure Basic IT skills (MS Office) Desirable: Experience in cleanroom or high-tech manufacturing environments Knowledge of UHV systems, electron or ion optics Experience in low-volume, high-spec product manufacturing Exposure to precision hand fitting, wiring, and testing processes Qualifications: Level 3 Mechanical Engineering or equivalent HNC/HND or degree in Mechanical or Electromechanical Engineering (desirable) Apprenticeship or time-served background considered Recruited UK will make every effort to respond with feedback although this is not always possible.
