Prospero Teaching are recruiting for a full-time Teacher of Maths to start ASAP, at an inclusive secondary school in Tameside. The school is passionate about learning, placing it the heart of all that they do. This role is suitable for both ECTs and experienced staff.

Teacher of Maths - Tameside

Pay: 168- 261 per day (depending on experience)

Contract: Full-time, Long-term, temp to perm.

Start: ASAP

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a thriving and supportive school community in Tameside.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to begin their teaching career in a well-resourced, forward-thinking environment.

As a Teacher of Maths , you will play a key role in inspiring and engaging pupils through creative and inclusive teaching.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional needs
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes progress and wellbeing
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and support
• Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to ensure each child reaches their full potential
• Contribute to school life through involvement in extracurricular activities and initiatives

The ideal Teacher of Maths will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT with placement experience
• Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching and child development
• Be confident in behaviour management and classroom organisation
• Bring creativity, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills to the role
• Have a commitment to raising achievement and supporting the wider school community
