Brook Street Recruitment is partnering with a well-established and highly respected Financial Services firm in Belfast who are expanding their team. They are open to considering candidates at different stages of their paraplanning career - from developing professionals to seasoned experts - offering the chance to grow within a supportive, high-performing environment.

This is more than a back-office role. You'll be a trusted partner to advisers, playing a key role in shaping positive client outcomes through accurate, compliant and well-structured advice.



The Role


As a Paraplanner, you will support advisers by delivering high-quality documentation and technical insight that underpins effective financial planning strategies.
Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing clear, compliant suitability reports and client documentation within agreed timescales
  • Analysing client information to support tailored financial planning recommendations
  • Producing detailed reports and client presentations
  • Responding to client and adviser queries with accuracy and professionalism
  • Ensuring all work aligns with FCA and internal compliance standards
  • Maintaining accurate documentation in line with regulatory requirements
  • Supporting a culture of continuous improvement and professional development


Criteria

The client will speak with para-planners at a range of experience levels. You might already be highly experienced, or you could be progressing your career and looking for the right environment to develop further.

You will ideally have:

  • Level 4 Diploma qualified (or working towards)
  • Previous para planning experience (level considered)
  • Strong technical knowledge across financial planning products
  • Good understanding of investments, pensions, protection and savings
  • Awareness of suitability report standards and compliance requirements
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and related systems
  • A solid understanding of industry regulations and processes
