Location: Manchester (Hybrid working)
Contract: Permanent/Fixed Term (flexible)
Working Pattern: Hybrid (office and remote)

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Change Manager to lead and coordinate change activity across a complex portfolio of initiatives. This role plays a critical part in ensuring change is effectively planned, delivered and Embedded, enabling the organisation to realise sustainable benefits from transformation.

Operating as a senior practitioner, you will work closely with programme teams, operational stakeholders and senior leaders to manage change impact, readiness and adoption at scale. The role suits someone comfortable balancing multiple priorities in a fast-moving, matrixed environment.

Key Responsibilities

Change Management

  • Lead end-to-end change management activities across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Translate organisational change strategy into clear, actionable change plans
  • Act as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on change approach and delivery
  • Ensure people-centred change is Embedded across processes, systems and ways of working

Change Planning & Delivery

  • Conduct and oversee change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis and readiness planning
  • Manage and coordinate change roadmaps, sequencing activity to minimise change fatigue
  • Ensure change impacts across people, process and technology are clearly understood and addressed
  • Support transition into business-as-usual, embedding change to drive benefits realisation

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Build strong, credible relationships with senior leaders, delivery teams and operational management
  • Advise leaders on change risk, readiness and mitigation strategies
  • Ensure effective, timely and targeted change communications are delivered
  • Support and coach leaders and managers in their role as change sponsors

Capability & Leadership

  • Provide direction, coaching and mentoring to Change Analysts, practitioners or change champions
  • Set clear objectives and priorities across change activity
  • Support the development of organisational change capability
  • Foster a collaborative, learning-focused culture of continuous improvement

Skills & Experience

Experience

  • Significant experience in Change Management or Organisational Change roles
  • Proven experience delivering change across enterprise or portfolio-level initiatives
  • Strong track record working within complex transformation programmes
  • Experience influencing stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
  • Background in large, multi-site or matrixed organisations is advantageous

  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strong capability in assessing and managing change impact, readiness and saturation
  • Effective planning, prioritisation and dependency management
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills
