TRAVEL COORDINATOR

Salary: up to £35,000

Location: Birmingham, Hybrid

Job Type: Full time, Permanent

We're looking for an experienced Travel Coordinator to manage and continually improve our business travel programme within the professional services sector. This role plays a key part in ensuring travel is safe, cost-effective, sustainable, and fully compliant with internal policies.

You'll oversee travel suppliers and booking processes, manage travel spend and reporting, support traveller safety requirements, and act as the main point of contact for travel-related queries across the organisation. You'll also work closely with Finance, Risk, and ESG stakeholders, deliver policy guidance and training, and provide hands-on support for complex international travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain travel policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with corporate travel agreements and best practice.
  • Continuously review and enhance the travel programme to support operational resilience, sustainability objectives, and budget control.
  • Act as the central point of contact for all travel-related queries across the organisation.

  • Deliver training and guidance on travel systems, processes, and policy updates.
  • Offer hands-on assistance for complex or high-risk international travel arrangements.

About you:

  • Proven experience in corporate travel coordination or travel management
  • Strong supplier and stakeholder management skills
  • Confident using travel booking systems and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of travel risk, sustainability reporting, and UK/international travel regulations
