Portfolio Payroll is working with a well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice based in Hull who are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their growing team. The Role
You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of client payrolls, ensuring all processes are completed accurately and in line with current UK legislation.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing end-to-end payroll for multiple clients using Sage
- Processing weekly, fortnightly, and monthly payrolls
- Submitting RTI to HMRC
- Administering auto-enrolment pensions
- Handling client payroll queries and providing support
- Ensuring compliance with current payroll legislation
About You
- Proven payroll experience, ideally within an accountancy practice or bureau
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll and HMRC requirements
- Experience with payroll systems such as Sage, BrightPay, or similar
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills and client-focused approach
