Oasis Academy Hadley is seeking a passionate and committed English Teacher to join our highly successful English department.
About the role:
- You will teach English across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to teach A Level English Literature for suitable candidates.
- Joining a strong, collaborative team, you will deliver a broad and challenging curriculum that develops students' love of English while equipping them with the skills needed for academic success.
Our English outcomes are a real strength of the academy:
- GCSE English Progress score of +0.75
- At A Level, 70% of students achieve A-B
- A strong culture of reading, literacy and academic aspiration
This is an excellent opportunity for an ECT or experienced teacher looking to grow professionally in a supportive environment.

About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Has strong subject knowledge and a passion for English

- Is reflective, collaborative and committed to professional learning
