Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant

Hayley Dexis has an exciting opportunity available for an enthusiastic Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant to support the busy team at our branch in Llandudno. About the Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant role:

In this varied role you ll find yourself starting the day at our branch in Llandudno, loading the company van with various deliveries as well as preparing the delivery notes to go with them. You ll then use your local knowledge to complete several timely and accurate deliveries to various customers in the local area. You ll play a key part in keeping things moving smoothly while enjoying the independence and variety that comes with being out on the road.

Back at the branch, you ll work closely with the rest of the team, supporting the sales office by handling phone enquiries and assisting customers at the Trade Counter. In addition, you ll also assist in the warehouse, handling goods in receiving deliveries, unloading and loading vehicles, and making sure all stock is properly checked and recorded.

We re looking for someone with a good mix of previous driving experience as well as excellent communication and customer service skills. A full UK driving licence is needed for this role as our vans are manual.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, 08 30 with 1 hour for lunch.

What we're looking for in our Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant:

• Full UK driving licence (our Hayley Dexis branded delivery vans are manual)
• Previous experience in a delivery driver role
• A good knowledge of the local, geographical area
• A keen eye for health & safety awareness
• Ability to be flexible and adaptable
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic industry.
• Excellent communication skills
