Urban Planner / Senior Urban Planner
Location: London
Full time, permanent position
We are working in partnership with a well-established Urban Planning practise to recruit an graduate planner to join the team on a permanent basis.
This opportunity would suit an individual seeking a broad and varied planning role within a supportive, collaborative environment, with flexibility considered for the right candidate.
The Role
You will work closely with senior planners, chartered professionals, and the wider multidisciplinary team, supporting a diverse range of urban planning and development projects.
Involvement in a wide mix of UK-focused planning work, including policy, regeneration, and development schemes
Exposure to major master planning projects, including Homes England-led schemes
Work across land promotion, strategic planning, and regeneration initiatives
Opportunities to contribute to both public and private sector development projects
Collaborative working with a team of approximately 15 chartered planners across varying levels of seniority
Office-based working environment with flexibility depending on experience and role level
Opportunity to shape involvement depending on whether you are appointed at Planner, Senior Planner, or Associate level
Potential for flexible or reduced-hours arrangements to be discussed for the right candidate

About You
We are open to applications from Planner through to Senior Planner level.
Experience within either the public or private sector will be considered
Strong interest in urban planning, regeneration, and development-led projects
Strong written communication and report-writing ability
Confident working with data, spreadsheets, and planning documentation where required
Comfortable working within a collaborative, office-based environment
MRTPI or chartership is beneficial but not essential depending on level
Proactive, adaptable, and keen to develop within a growing planning team
Salary and Benefits
Salary: £34,000 - £40,000 for Graduate level (higher for Senior/Associate level, dependent on experience)
